The Royal African Awards is open to young people who are Pushing personal boundaries, Shaping Africa narratives, Recreating the landscape of socio-economic development, and Gaining networking and building their communities
RAYLF Award of His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, (OJAJA II), Ooni of Ife recognizes young people who consistently live and demonstrate, at the highest level, one or more of the RAYLF Leadership Principles.
RAYLF award strictly focuses on the afore-mentioned five pillars where nominee is expected to be making outstanding and significant contribution in his/her community. Other people working in the nominee’s area will see their contribution as inspirational and significant, requiring commitment over a long period of time.
To be considered a candidate for RAYLF award, the nominee must excel in accordance with RAYLF Leadership Principle as entrenched above and be of the calibre to serve as a role model and mentor. Nominations will be evaluated with considerable attention given to the nominee’s impact resulting from living these principles.
As part of the nomination, you’ll also need:
Your nominee’s name, age, address and contact details
Their socio media accounts
Passport photograph (high quality resolution)
Details of relevant work or volunteering they’ve done or still doing (should be documented in not more than 2 pages biodata)
Details of any awards or other recognition they’ve received
Note: any awardee that is nominated is automatically benchmarked on the credibility of individuals that present them for the RAYLF should they be selected by the RAYLF Overall Selection Committee that is set up by His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), Ooni of Ife.
